excellence in undergraduate teaching and research, and
are open to any area of expertise that complements our
existing faculty. Teach 7 classes per year (3-1-3),
including sections of Introduction to Environmental
Studies, Environmental Studies Senior Capstone, and
classes in your area of expertise. Participation in
an interdisciplinary, values-oriented general
education program is required, including a regular
rotation in the two-semester freshman program.</span></li>

<span>Manager, Colombia Strategy and Development</span></div>

<li>Description: <span>To achieve Rare's country strategy
in Colombia, Rare will need to forge strategic
partnerships with identified government institutions
while securing funding to fuel scale and growth.
Reporting to the Colombia Country Director, the
Manager for Strategy and Development will be
responsible for national government engagement for
purposes of establishing policy relevance, securing
funding, and scaling initiatives. He or she will also
be responsible for identifying and securing resources
from both the public and private sector to ensure
financial resilience of the organization in Colombia.
Together with the Colombia Country Director, he or she
will also be responsible for raising Rare's profile
and brand in Colombia. The first year of this
position will require the candidate to play a key
supporting role in establishing Rare's Colombia
presence, as a search is conducted for the Country
Director. The position will also need to work closely
with the Senior Vice President for Rare's Watershed
Program who will be interim supervisor until a
candidate for Colombia Director is identified,
recruited, and on boarded. The position will require
working with cross-functional teams across programs,
countries and throughout the enterprise, to develop
complex multi-million-dollar funding proposals.</span></li>

environmental issues, and/or public policy. Expertise
in marine issues is required, and knowledge of the
ecosystem-based fisheries management preferred. This
role will work with the Director to develop, implement
and monitor research projects proposed for support by
the Lenfest Ocean Program. The projects are typically
in the natural sciences, but may include projects in
economics and social science. Other responsibilities
include researching marine science issues, gathering
input about key issues from a range of stakeholders,
assessing potential grantees and partners, and
evaluating a proposed project's policy relevance.</span></li>
