Applicants must have a minimum of B.S. in Physics, Oceanography, Meteorology, Remote Sensing or the like. An advanced degree is preferred. The position is full-time and offers competitive salary and full benefits. This is a one to two year position with the possibility of becoming permanent. We prefer candidates who can begin immediately.</p><p class="">The position involves the development of computer programs for processing satellite data and the analysis of the developed climate products. The position requires a strong background in physics and mathematics with a solid understanding of linear algebra and advanced calculus. The applicant needs exceptional analytical abilities and demonstrated technical written and verbal communication skills.
