policies, as well as oversight of policy development
relating to the organization's financial
operations. It further includes coordination of
financial matters with other departments and
programs of the organization, as well as
sanctuary-related, site-based programs. The CFO
supervises the staff of the finance department,
within limits of the budget, in such a way that all
departmental responsibilities are handled
effectively and professionally. With the President
and CEO, the CFO serves as primary liaison with the
Board of Trustees, and works closely with the
Finance and Audit Committees. </span></li>

featuring key outcomes, fostering partnerships and
leveraging additional funds and resources, and working
with NMSF management to engage the Department of
Justice and its Assistant U.S. Attorneys. This

Ocean Planning and Fish Conservation teams and

Navy, NOAA, BOEM, USGS, DOE, DOI, NSF, ONR and others. You
will be called on to provide advice, technical support, and
meeting support. We are looking for an individual with
excellent multi-tasking abilities, written and verbal
communication skills, and someone who can take initiative in
time-planning and meeting deadlines, and who has a strong
knowledge of ocean issues and a passion for ocean science.</span><span> </span><span>Preference
will be given to those who have a strong understanding of
policy processes, and governmental communication experience.</span></li>
