                  <div>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<br>
                    <br>

                      undergraduate and graduate courses. Depending upon
                      candidate expertise and needs of the division,
                      courses may include marine conservation biology,
                      marine ecology, environmental policy, as well as
                      an upper division course in area of expertise<br>

                      innovative teaching and learning techniques that
                      engage students through the use of technology,
                      hands-on experience, and problem solving<br>

                      undergraduate students in research and applied
                      science<br>
                    </div>

                      research program that builds on and makes use of

                      community of marine science institutions for which
                      Monterey Bay is internationally renowned<br>

                    Minimum Qualifications:<br>
                    <br>

                      conservation biology, marine science, marine
                      ecology, or related field at time of hire<br>

                      excellence in facilitating undergraduate learning<br>
                    </div>

                      commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and
                      graduate levels<br>

                      research program with a strong record of
                      accomplishments in interdisciplinary marine
                      conservation biology<br>

                    Desirable Qualifications:<br>

                      record of applying mathematical, biotechnology
                      (genomics, proteomics), stable isotope and other
                      state of the art approaches to teaching and
                      research in the area of Marine Conservation

                      work collaboratively within a faculty group that
                      has special expertise in applying geospatial
                      approaches (e.g. GIS, Remote Sensing) to the study
                      of marine ecosystems<br>

                        style="white-space: pre; "></span>• Demonstrated
                      ability to integrate research into undergraduate
                      education and to bring undergraduate students into
                      research<br>
                    </div>

                      in course and curriculum development<br>
                    </div>
                    <div><span class="Apple-tab-span"
                        style="white-space: pre; "></span>• Success in
                      securing external funding to support research,
