The Department of Biology and Marine Biology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for three tenure-track positions starting August, 2013. Candidates in any area of Coastal and Marine Biology are encouraged to apply, and would be expected to contribute to one or more core courses in the areas of Marine Biology, Genetics, Physiology or Ecology.. The successful candidates will be expected to maintain a vigorous, extramurally funded research program involving undergraduate and graduate students.<br>

The Department offers B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biology and Marine Biology, and a Ph.D. in Marine Biology. The Department of Biology and Marine Biology values basic, applied, and translational research.
