being organized in cooperation by the Marine Biological Section of the
Department of Biology, <st1:City w:st="on">University of Copenhagen</st1:City>,
<st1:country-region w:st="on">Denmark</st1:country-region>, the Stazione
Zoologica Anton Dohrn, <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Naples</st1:City>,
<st1:country-region w:st="on">Italy</st1:country-region></st1:place>, and the
IOC Science and Communication Centre on Harmful Algae. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;background:white'><font
size=1 color="#4a4949" face=Verdana><span lang=EN style='font-size:8.5pt;
font-family:Verdana;color:#4A4949'>This continues a four decade long tradition
of advanced phytoplankton courses starting in 1976 at <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">University</st1:PlaceType>
of <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Oslo</st1:PlaceName> under the auspices of UNESCO
and later at the Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn, in <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Naples</st1:place></st1:City>. The 10th anniversary course is
organized in a new partnership and is based on cost recovery implying that the
participants individually identify funding for attendance. Recognizing that
sufficient time is required to identify funding announcement and deadline for
applications is earlier than before. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
