We are seeking a suitably motivated student to take up a PhD within the
School of Marine and Tropical Biology researching distributions and
occurrences of toxic microalgal species within the Great Barrier Reef in
North Queensland Australia.<br><br>
The School of Marine and Tropical Biology at James Cook University is
internationally renown for its high profile research regarding marine
systems and ecology. The position is offered at the Townsville campus.
Townsville is located in the dry tropics with direct access to the Great
Barrier Reef.<br><br>
The PhD scholarship is funded through the MTSRF scheme, a federally
funded initiative, and offers a stipend of A$ 25,000 per annum and an
going funding for the research component of A$ 25,000 per annum.<br><br>
