everyone-
<br>
Since we are so close to December, I am trying to get the
Dept/Center Admins and their #2s together with Dave, Jenn, Sue
& me to help create the strategy and timeline for training our
APs on WHOIgrants and MTDC.
<br>
<br>
Even though all the details of certain policies are not completed,
we can still train on what we do know, the changes in WHOIgrants,
and how to find the information in WHOIgrants.
<br>
<br>
Other topics:
<br>
Fabricated Equipment: Your suggestion of having Indirect Costs
show F&A with a value of $0 on the WHOI budget has been
implemented.
<br>
<br>
Period Dates: More than one of you has brought up the idea of
using the same methodology for the 2016-2017 cross-year 'period'
(two mini-periods equalling 1 12-month period). Let's discuss and
strategize how we will approach this - especially for the cases
when we are collaborating with another institution. I would like
the user documentation to reflect what we decide 'best practices'
will be so the training is consistent.
<br>
<br>
When is everyone available?
<br>
Want to meet early next week to plan our December training
campaign?
<br>
<br>
Please let me know what would work (and what times are definitely
out!).
<br>
<br>
thanks,
<br>
Helen
