Title: Come In, We’re Open: The Changing Culture of Research
Abstract: We are hearing more about open: open data, open access,
open source, open science, et cetera. More often, data sharing is
requested or required by funders, journals, publishers, and
institutions. What does this mean for how we do science? What are
the implications for individual researchers? I will provide an
overview of the trends towards openness in science, why this is a
good thing, and how you can participate.
