Dear Data Mongers,<br>
This is a follow-up to an email I sent a while back (below).<br>
I just heard about a free online course being offered by Esri that
says it will provide "free access to the full analytical
capabilities of ArcGIS Online, Esri's cloud-based GIS platform.
Previous experience with GIS software is helpful but not necessary."<br>

Also, I am still interested in hearing from WHOI staff and
students, in particular, with regard to either (or both) Esri or
open source GIS software. For example, should WHOI consider a site
license for Esri ArcGIS? should WHOI consider training on-site for
open source GIS? would you be able to do new or improved analyses
in your research if you had access to software or training?
