It is intended that snapshots of local websites, a discussion of use-cases they are intended for, and technology choices made in their design, will help the audience to get a feel for the amount of value it would have in their own projects. The final segment of the talk focuses on the emergence of semantic technologies in Drupal and an example strategy for database interoperability.<br><br><b>About the speaker:</b><br><br>Andrew Maffei is a Senior Information Systems Specialist at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. After playing roles of scientific programmer, system administrator, pc/mac team lead, and network manager over the past 25+ years at WHOI he finds himself migrating from the realms of computer and network interoperability into the realm of data interoperability.
