Hello all!

I am Jane Weinstock, a 3rd year PhD student at WHOI, and I
have recently started running weekly 'Latin Dance Tuesdays'
from 5:30 to 6:30 on the 5th floor of Clark. My husband and I
did a lot of Latin social dance before coming to WHOI (think
salsa, cha cha), and we decided to try recreating those events
here. Now that we have a couple weeks under our belt in
running these events, we would love to open these up to you
all too.

So! If you are interested, stop by the 5th floor of Clark
from 5:30-6:30 tomorrow (May 24) for an hour of salsa! Light
snacks & refreshments are provided. We do 15-20 minutes of
introduction/warm-up (led by me), followed by ~45 min of open
dance -- with partner and lead/follow swapping encouraged. No
experience, equipment, or dance partner necessary. This is a
friendly space to get some exercise and learn something new,
and we have had first-timers every week so far. :)

Some important notes: This event is open to
+1's from both within and outside of the WHOI community, we
just ask that everyone sign in upon arrival. Also, WHOI is
encouraging people to wear masks for any/all indoor events, so
please at least have a mask on hand. Hand sanitizer will be
available as well.

Hope to see you there!
