<p class="MsoNormal">I am writing to gauge the level of interest of the Woods Hole scientific community in having a Society for Women in Marine Science (SWMS) chapter in Woods Hole. The goal of SWMS is to amalgamate scientists from all career levels to form
a supportive community, host events, celebrate work done by women in marine science and promote female visibility in the field. At Woods Hole, there is particular interest to unite individuals from all associations and backgrounds, including students, staff,
technicians, and scientists who contribute to making the beauty of marine science happen!
